Program Description
Von P&D Inc uses SMS text messaging to communicate work-related information to its drivers. Messages are strictly limited to operational purposes, including:
- Weekly schedule notifications and updates
- Route assignments and changes
- Time-off request confirmations and approvals
- Other work-schedule-related communications
This messaging program is exclusively for current Von P&D employees. There is no public sign-up or self-enrollment.
Consent & Opt-In Process
Drivers are added to the Von P&D Inc scheduling system by authorized company dispatchers during the employee onboarding process. At the time of entry, the driver provides verbal consent to receive text messages from Von P&D Inc related to their work schedule and time-off requests.
During onboarding, the following verbal consent exchange takes place:
Dispatcher: “We use text messaging at Von P&D Inc to send you your weekly schedule, notify you about time-off request updates, and allow you to request time off by text. Message frequency varies based on schedule changes. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP, and our privacy policy is at vonpd.com/legal/privacy-policy.html. Are you okay with receiving these texts?”
Driver: “Yes.”
Dispatcher: “You’re all set. You’ll receive a confirmation text shortly.”
Only phone numbers entered by authorized Von P&D Inc dispatchers receive messages. Consent is obtained directly from the driver before any messages are sent. All recipients are verified current employees of Von P&D Inc.
Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies depending on schedule changes and operational needs. Drivers can typically expect to receive between 1 and 10 messages per week.

Opt-Out & Help
Participation in this SMS program is voluntary. Drivers may opt out at any time.
To stop receiving messages, reply with any of the following keywords to any message from Von P&D Inc:
STOP STOPALL UNSUBSCRIBE CANCEL END QUIT OPTOUT REVOKE
For help or questions, reply HELP or INFO to any message, or contact us at the information listed below.
After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. No further messages will be sent unless you re-enroll through your dispatcher.
