Von P&D Inc ("VonPD," "we," "us," or "our") operates a driver scheduling application that uses SMS text messaging to communicate work schedules and process time-off requests for our employees. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our SMS messaging program.

Information We Collect

In connection with our SMS messaging program, the following information is collected and stored:

• Your name
• Your mobile phone number
• The content of text messages you send to and receive from our scheduling number
• Timestamps of those messages
• Time-off requests you submit, including dates and reasons provided

How We Use Your Information

We use your phone number and related information solely for the following purposes:

• Sending you your weekly work schedule
• Processing time-off requests you submit via text message
• Notifying you when a time-off request has been approved or denied

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to your employment and work scheduling at VonPD.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own purposes. Your information may be processed by the following service providers solely to operate the scheduling and messaging system:

• Twilio / SendGrid — for sending and receiving SMS messages and emails
• Google Cloud Platform — for hosting the scheduling application and storing data

These providers process your information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection obligations.

Data Retention

Your driver profile information is retained for as long as you are an active driver with VonPD. SMS conversation history for time-off requests is retained for up to 90 days after the conversation ends. Schedule data is retained indefinitely for operational record-keeping.

If you leave VonPD, your driver profile will be archived in the system. You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting your dispatcher or VonPD management.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), access controls limited to authorized VonPD dispatchers, and secure cloud infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud Platform.

Your Rights

You may:

• Opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from our number
• Request information about what personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your personal data

To exercise these rights, contact your dispatcher or VonPD management directly.

Messaging Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies based on your work schedule. You can expect to receive approximately 1–5 messages per week related to schedules and time-off requests, with additional messages if you initiate a time-off request conversation. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
