By being registered as a driver in the VonPD scheduling system and receiving SMS messages from Von P&D Inc ("VonPD," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
VonPD operates an SMS messaging program for its drivers that provides the following services:
You are enrolled in this messaging program when a VonPD dispatcher registers your phone number in the scheduling system as part of your driver onboarding. There is no public sign-up. Only current VonPD employees whose phone numbers have been entered by authorized dispatchers will receive messages.
You may opt out of all SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from our number. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. Opting out of SMS does not affect your employment with VonPD. If you opt out, your dispatcher will provide schedule information through alternative means.
For help with the messaging service, reply HELP to any message from our number. You will receive a message with contact information for assistance. You may also contact your dispatcher or VonPD management directly.
Message frequency varies. You can expect approximately 1–5 messages per week related to your work schedule and time-off requests. If you initiate a time-off request conversation via text, additional messages will be exchanged during that conversation (typically 2–6 messages per request).
VonPD does not charge you for SMS messages. However, standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.
Our messaging service is compatible with most major US mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Some messages you receive are generated by automated systems, including an AI-powered assistant that helps process time-off requests. The AI assistant is designed to help you submit time-off requests efficiently. It does not make scheduling decisions — all time-off approvals and denials are made by VonPD dispatchers.
Schedule information delivered via SMS reflects the most current schedule at the time of delivery. Schedules are subject to change. Always confirm your current schedule with your dispatcher if you have questions.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our SMS Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
VonPD reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the SMS messaging service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via text message or through your dispatcher.
The SMS messaging service is provided "as is." VonPD does not guarantee that messages will be delivered without delay or interruption. SMS should not be relied upon as the sole source of scheduling information in time-sensitive or safety-critical situations.
If you have questions about these terms, contact Von P&D Inc management at your local terminal.
